Valbonë–Theth Hike over the Pass
The classic crossing of the Albanian Alps and one of the most famous day hikes in the Balkans. The trail climbs from the valley floor to the Valbona Pass at around 1,800 m, with sweeping views of the Accursed Mountains, before descending into the neighbouring Valbonë valley. Most walkers do it in one long day, often with a guesthouse pick-up at either end.
Blue Eye of Theth Hike
A there-and-back hike down the valley to the Blue Eye of Theth, a vivid blue spring pool fed by mountain water and framed by small waterfalls. The route follows the gorge past Nderlysa and climbs through forest to the pool, a rewarding half- to full-day walk depending on where you start.
Grunas Waterfall Walk
The easiest of Theth's signature walks — a short hike from the village to the roughly 25–30 m Grunas Waterfall, often combined with a look into the Grunas Canyon. It is a good half-day outing and an ideal first walk to get a feel for the valley.

The little stone Catholic church is the symbol of Theth — a modest building with a shingled bell tower and conical roof, standing on a green meadow in the middle of the valley beneath the peaks of the Accursed Mountains.
Grunas Waterfall
Grunas Waterfall drops roughly 25–30 metres down a mossy rock face into a cold pool, a short hike above the village. It is the most popular short walk in Theth and is often combined with the Grunas Canyon below it.
Blue Eye of Theth
The Blue Eye of Theth is a vivid blue-and-turquoise spring pool fed by a small waterfall, set deep in a forested gorge down the valley near Nderlysa. The cold, startlingly clear water is the reward at the end of one of the valley's classic walks.

Ναι. Το Θεθ είναι ένας από τους πιο εντυπωσιακούς ορεινούς προορισμούς της Αλβανίας — ένα χωριό με πέτρινα σπίτια βαθιά στις Αλβανικές Άλπεις, περιτριγυρισμένο από τα Καταραμένα Βουνά, με καταρράκτες, μια έντονα γαλάζια λιμνούλα πηγής και μερικές από τις καλύτερες πεζοπορίες των Βαλκανίων ακριβώς από την πόρτα σας.
Δύο έως τρεις μέρες αρκούν για να δείτε την εκκλησία, να περπατήσετε ως τον Καταρράκτη Grunas και να ανεβείτε στο Blue Eye του Θεθ. Προσθέστε μια μέρα για την πλήρη διάσχιση Valbonë–Theth πάνω από το πέρασμα, ή για να χαλαρώσετε και να απολαύσετε τη ζωή στους ξενώνες της κοιλάδας.
Στο Θεθ φτάνετε από τη Shkodër, περίπου 70 χλμ. και γύρω στις 2,5–3,5 ώρες μέσω ενός φιδωτού ορεινού δρόμου. Καθημερινά μίνι λεωφορεία (furgons) ξεκινούν από τη Shkodër τους θερμότερους μήνες, ή μπορείτε να οδηγήσετε. Το πλησιέστερο αεροδρόμιο είναι των Τιράνων, περίπου 1,5–2 ώρες από τη Shkodër.
Ο Ιούνιος έως ο Σεπτέμβριος είναι η κύρια σεζόν, όταν τα μονοπάτια είναι καθαρά από χιόνι και οι ξενώνες ανοιχτοί. Οι ενδιάμεσοι μήνες Μάιος και Οκτώβριος είναι ευμετάβλητοι, ενώ η πρόσβαση τον χειμώνα είναι περιορισμένη λόγω χιονιού στον ορεινό δρόμο.
Όχι. Υπάρχουν σύντομες, εύκολες διαδρομές όπως ο Καταρράκτης Grunas, δίπλα σε μεγαλύτερες όπως το Blue Eye του Θεθ και η διάσχιση Valbonë–Theth. Διαλέξτε μονοπάτια που ταιριάζουν στη φυσική σας κατάσταση, έχετε μαζί νερό και ρούχα σε στρώσεις και ξεκινήστε νωρίς τις μακρές πεζοπορίες.
Δείτε τη φωτογενή πέτρινη εκκλησία, τον Πύργο Εγκλεισμού (έναν πύργο καταφυγής από τη βεντέτα και μουσείο για την παράδοση του Κανούν) και τους παλιούς νερόμυλους, ή απλώς εγκατασταθείτε σε έναν οικογενειακό ξενώνα για ορεινό φαγητό και ήσυχα βράδια.
