A family bujtina in the heart of the valley, with timber-and-stone buildings set against the snow-dusted peaks of the Accursed Mountains. Rooms are simple and warm, and the in-house restaurant serves the hearty home cooking that defines a stay in Theth, traditional dishes cooked daily from seasonal produce sourced in the village and on nearby farms. The Polia brothers opened it in 2002, and it stands on Logu i Kishës, the church meadow, which puts the stone church a couple of minutes away on foot. Rooms run from singles and doubles through to a triple and a duplex, and breakfast is included; the guesthouse quotes doubles at around €60 and the duplex at about €100, though mountain rates move year to year so confirm when you book. It runs roughly April to November, and also arranges airport and city transfers, trekking-pole and map hire and advice on the local trails. Rooms have private bathrooms with walk-in showers and parquet floors, and the balconies look onto the garden, the mountains or the river.
