About
Where you'll stay
A large three-storey timber guesthouse on the Fushë-Thethi meadow, its balconied floors lit up above rows of garden benches at night. Rooms are bright and simple, with a big garden for long summer dinners under the peaks. The family describe the house as traditional stone and wood, 300 metres from the village church and right beside the isolation tower, with the waterfall and the Blue Eye both reachable on foot. Rooms have private bathrooms and a balcony onto the garden or the mountains. The kitchen leans on the family's own garden vegetables, bread baked in the oven, and local milk, cheese and honey. There is a restaurant and bar, a lounge, an outdoor fireplace and a barbecue, plus free private parking and free WiFi. Breakfast is continental with vegetarian options, the hosts speak English and Italian, and the guesthouse takes cash only.
