About
Where you'll stay
A restored stone kulla, a traditional highland tower house, in the hamlet of Okol, sleeping guests under exposed timber beams and rough stone walls. One of the most characterful and genuinely historic places to stay in the valley. The listing runs to a queen room, a standard twin, a family room with two singles and a large double, and single beds in a mixed dormitory, and bathrooms here are shared rather than private, which is worth knowing before you book. Breakfast is continental or buffet and is included in the rate. The restaurant does traditional Albanian cooking for lunch and dinner, with vegetarian and vegan options, and there is a bar, a terrace, a garden, an outdoor fireplace, a children's playground and a picnic area. Free WiFi and free private parking are on site, a paid airport shuttle can be arranged, and the guesthouse takes cash only.
